CONFLICT RESOLUTION

Most adults have been taught either by example or by instruction that confrontation and avoidance are effective ways to resolve conflicts. Unfortunately, these strategies have proven to not only be ineffective but also inequitable.

GDC's Multi-Cultural Conflict Resolution course teaches students the five styles of conflict management and equips them with the practical skills to use them correctly throughout life's varying conflict circumstances.  

The course's learning tools include interactive role-playing, group discussion, and case studies. Being multi-cultural, our curriculum emphasizes the importance of being aware of other's perspectives, values, and experiences.  

After completing this course, students are able to identify underlying causes of conflict  and brainstorm how to best resolve issues of conflict, within realistic and reasonable expectations.
