EDUCATE. ACTIVATE. ELEVATE.
Street Justice teaches students how to navigate legal issues that arise in their everyday life. Street Justice's curriculum is designed to increase students' knowledge on branches and levels of governmental powers. A practice oriented program, Street Justice shows students what their Constitutional rights look like at home, in vehicles, and at school. Street Justice is presented through the adversarial theme of the American judicial system.
Justice Academy's aim is to develop good citizenship and leadership skills in our youth; as well as sharpen their analytical and critical thinking skills. Topics and objectives are many but discussion points are based off real life settings and situations. For example, role-playing exercises focus on everyday interactions in commonplaces with peers or authoritative figures.(friends, teammates, parents, coaches, neighbors, teachers, bosses, police officers, judges, etc.)
